D&b 10D and 30D: four-channel amplifiers for permanent installations

The d 10D amplifier&b is designed for small applications such as bars, waiting and conference rooms with flexible configurations for the venue; while the 30D has been designed for medium size as stadiums, discotheques, Theatres, places of worship and town halls.

Four-channel amplifiers and 2 RU 10D and 30D have been designed by D&b Audiotechnik thinking about permanent installations. Offer 700 W and 1600 W per channel, respectively, and share the same performance and digital signal processing platform (Dsp) than the D20 amplifier and the d flagship amplifier&B, the D80.

All these amplifiers offer complete d-speaker management&b and switchable filter functions. They incorporate two equalizers of 16 bands including parametric filters, Notch, asymmetrical and shelving along with up to 10 seconds of delay for each of the four channels. Among them, cover almost all installation applications, with the only difference of output voltage and speaker settings.

DSP capabilities are also ready for further expansion thanks to future firmware updates, ensuring that 10D and 30D amplifiers are an investment in the future.

To ensure homogeneous integration into existing permanent installations, 10D and 30D amplifiers offer five general-purpose programmable input/output pins, that allow external devices to be used for control or detection functions.

Both provide four analog inputs and four AES/EBU digital inputs and all of them can be added and routed to any of the four outputs.. this input matrix allows all eight inputs to be used simultaneously. In addition, each entry offers a separate input gain; I mean, multiple input sources can be used with different levels, no need for an external mixing device.

System status monitoring ensures the suitability of sound reinforcement systems for emergency situations. These devices can be accessed via CAN-Bus or Ethernet using the Open Control Architecture protocols (GOOSE).

These amplifiers are managed by d's R1 remote control software&B, that presents a system graphically and allows centralized management and control of a complete solution. Password-protected features restrict access and AmpPresets allow users to change predefined device levels or settings.

As an alternative, 10D and 30D amplifiers can be controlled via the integrated web interface, that allows you to control individual amplifiers from a browser window.

The 10D amplifier is intended for small applications with lower SPL requirements, which makes it perfect for bars, waiting and conference rooms with flexible configurations for the venue. Includes configurations for all d speakers&B, except J-Series linear arrays, the flagship series of d&b large format, the V Series and the M2 monitor.

30D amplifier contains settings for all d speakers&b y is designed for medium and large applications with demanding SPL requirements. 30D is the answer for all types of medium-sized enclosures, including stadiums, discotheques, musical theatres, places of worship and town halls.

The 10D and 30D amplifiers were presented at the last fair InfoComm 2015 of Orlando by d&b audiotechnik with a view to becoming cornerstones of the future of professional audio installations.
