The AAI celebrates the XI 'Meeting of light' with the expert vision of the illuminator Iñaki Irastorza
The eleventh 'Meeting of light' organized by the Association of Lighting Authors has had the vision of the director of photography and illuminator Iñaki Irastorza, who has explained to the attending professionals his experience in 'the art of lighting for television', main theme of this meeting.
The Association of Lighting Authors (AAI) has organized in its XI 'Meeting of light' a meeting with the director of photography and illuminator Iñaki Irastorza, as part of the activities it offers to its partners, collaborators and sponsors.
With a long career in the world of television, advertising, major events and shows from 1990, Irastorza has worked in various productions, as informative, San Sebastian Film Festival, TVE's New Year's Eve Galas, 'Anthology of Zarzuela', the opera 'Carmen', 'X Factor' programs, 'The mornings of four', 'Nonsense the jousting', 'Big Brother', among others.
This meeting has focused on the art of lighting for television, a language that has similarities and differences with respect to the previous ones, that developed in other disciplines such as opera, dance, Concerts, musical theatre and classical theatre.
As on other occasions, attendees, mostly associate students and students of the cifP J.L. lighting course. Garci, attended a dress rehearsal, specifically to the Studios Picasso Mediaset, with the final of the program 'The Voice', the Spanish adaptation of the successful Dutch format 'The Voice', popularized worldwide.
Iñaki Irastorza made a tour of the different sets that have the final phase of this program, while explaining the distribution of the lighting system, the arrangement of cameras, video screens and sets, in addition to addressing all questions and doubts regarding working methods, use of resources and other professional secrets made by the attendees.
