XL Video turns the mythical 'Doctor Who' series into a synphonic and audiovisual show
Vision Nine Arts & Entertainment and XL Video are responsible for the realization and production of the spectacular live concert tour with Murray Gold's compositions made for the legendary British series 'Doctor Who', produced by the BBC, that has had innovative audiovisual systems and video projection for staging.
'Doctor Who' is an iconic science fiction series on British television, produced by the BBC, that in addition to being one of the most awarded productions for its creativity and special effects, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's longest-running of its kind, with fifty years of history.
This cult series has begun, through the author of his well-known compositions, Murray Gold, a concert tour of the United Kingdom, with the participation of the National Orchestra and the National Choir of the BBC Wales, conducted by British composer Ben Foster, which includes live performances and screenings of the main artists of the series and their monsters, as Daleks, Cybermen and the Ood.
For this spectacular staging, The tour has the experience of Vision Nine Arts & Entertainment and XL Video, whose objective in this project is "to immerse the audience through music and large format audiovisual systems". specifically, a 12-inch IMAG projection screen×7 meters stars in the central space of the stage for the projection of video and images of 'Doctor Who', supplied by the second company.
This screen uses two high brightness projectors of the Belgian firm ship, specifically the HDF-W26 model, they offer 26.000 lumens each, for the projection of scenes, along with ambient graphics and logos, as well as a preview of the next season, to start at the end of summer.
