Vieta DO 44: high-performance acoustic speakers for indoor and outdoor events

The DO speaker 44 is incorporated into Vieta's DO Line of passive acoustic enclosures to provide high projection of music and voice in both closed and open environments.

Vieta Pro, whose products it distributes in Spain and Portugal Acson Commercial, has incorporated to its line of high performance passive acoustic enclosures DO Line, the DO model 44, designed with acoustic performance that makes them ideal for use in both outdoor and indoor settings.

The rotating logo of the DO 44 allows its use both horizontally and vertically and the design of the membrane implemented in its four speakers 4 inches offers a linear response between 90 hz – 17 Khz.

Its assembly in MLC form (Multiunit Linear Clusters) provides high projection of music and voice. This system allows to increase the horizontal coverage to 100º, beyond the frequency of 5 Khz, as well as sound pressure, and decrease the compression factor that occurs in the speakers.

The aluminium grid, stainless steel screws, a UV-treated ABS enclosure and tropicalized speakers ensure outdoor use. The LT-54 toroidal transformer (optional) allows use in 70-100V lines, respecting the frequency response between 40 Hz – 18 Khz with only 1,5 dB of fall in 18 Khz.

The transformer core has been sized for higher performance at low frequencies at its maximum power, thus avoiding distortions at low frequencies that are produced by the saturation of the core.

The DO Line consists of ten high-performance passive acoustic enclosures that have been specifically designed to meet the multiple sound requirements imposed by the diversity of existing spaces.. Vieta recommends VDC-48 processors in order to optimize their frequency and dynamic response, controlling the maximum power applied to the system.
