The Enclave of the Wall is an urban space of more than 3.000 square meters destined to become the cultural epicenter of Molina de Segura (Murcia). The proposal will articulate in a large square facilities of great cultural relevance, and the Professional Conservatory of Music, the Historical Archive, an exhibition hall, an auditorium of 200 squares and the new Museum of the Enclave Muralla (Mudem), which will come into operation this year.

The sound system installed in the multipurpose auditorium included in the cultural complex has been based mainly on Alto venues amplified in stages Crest and controlled from a Qu-24 digital mixing console Allen & Heath. The company responsible for the installation, Nunsys, has opted for a line array system of High that meets the requirements for sound clarity, Power and reliability.

For system control, modern digital mixing technology has been chosen, installing a Qu-24 console, A system that harnesses the full potential of digital mixing technology, with full recovery of all settings (including the position of the faders and the gain of the preamps), A solution for audio recording and playback, iPad control, personal monitoring options and local or remote input/output capability via Cat5.

PA System with High

The PA system has been configured from 8 SXA28P units and two SXA18P subwoofer units.

The SXA28P is a two-way line array enclosure that incorporates two 8" mid/bass drivers and two 1" tweeters. Constructed with laminated timber 18 mm, Combines quick setup with 7.5° vertical and 100° horizontal coverage, with a tilt capability of +20°/0°/-20°. Delivers a power of 400 Continuous W, 800 W program and 1600 W peak, and an SPL of up to 125 dB peak.

The SXA18P is an 18" Line Array subwoofer, Suitable for demanding applications. When paired with one or more SXA28P speakers, allows for a virtually unlimited number of configuration options, Maintaining a powerful sound, Clean and no coloration.

Thanks to its ability to handle 750 Continuous W, 1500 W program or 3000 W for peak, is ideal for clean, deep bass, and can deliver an SPL of 125 dB of peak.

Amplification with Crest

The amplification for both the main sound system and the sound reinforcement system in the first rows of seats (a task that the Mask enclosures take care of 6) is provided by Crest ProLite series power amplifiers.

Designed to operate in harsh conditions for many years, Pro-Lite Series power amplifiers use a weight-reducing design, while increasing power output, Reliability and thermal efficiency. Incorporates a resonant switching power supply and Class D topology, which provides high resolution and efficiency in the audio signal.

They feature a powerful treated paper cone woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter cooled by fluid iron and mounted on a Vari-throat horn that provide high SPL and very low distortion. Its phase alignment and wide frequency range ensure faithful reproduction of the entire sound spectrum.

The Vari-throat horn and the 5° tilt angle mounting of the woofer and tweeter ensure perfect sound dispersion, No need to mount the enclosure with a large tilt angle. It offers a power of 150 W and an SPL 1W/1m of 91 db.

Audio-Technica and Alto Monitoring

The monitoring in the room from which the sound is managed is carried out by bi-amplified monitors of 2 Audio-Technica TS119A Pathways and ATH-20X Professional Headphones.

The TS119A, just like the rest of the Truesonic series enclosures, It has been designed with maximum versatility and longevity in mind. It features a lightweight, although robust, Enclosure made of polypropylene that can be mounted in elevated mode or by means of masts or supports.

Trapezoidal design minimizes standing waves produced in the enclosure, providing the highest quality sound. It has a 10" subwoofer (1.5" coil) and a 1" neodymium treble driver, as well as a Class D amplifier integrated into the enclosure itself.

These types of amplifiers are lighter than type A or AB amplifiers, although they offer a sound with the maximum 'punch'. TS110A delivers 630 W (530 W LF + 130 W HF). The built-in Contour EQ switch helps optimize speaker response.

On-stage monitoring is provided by Alto's SXM112A stage monitors. It is a stage monitor of 2 Way, 12”, Biamplified, incorporating a 12" subwoofer, with 2" coil, and a 1" tweeter.

It has a modeling effects unit that alters the sonic characteristics of the enclosure, with the help of a single control. It is possible to select between 16 Presets that maximize your sonic needs with options for singers, Guitarists, drummers or sound engineers. It has a bi-amplified system capable of providing 400 W (800 W for peak).

Allen Control Center & Heath

Auditorium sound system Enclave de la MurallaThe sound control hub is presided over by an Allen Qu-24 digital mixing console & Heath, associated with a GLD-AR2412 unit, an AudioRack that is responsible for managing the connectivity of the system.

Qu-24 is a digital mixer of 24 channels that descend directly from GLD and iLive digital mixing systems. Incorporates AnalogiQ Total Recall preamps, that offer zero-crossover detection and an advanced gain stage with 1 db, closely related to the DSP for maximum audio accuracy and transparency.

The analog signal is handled by high-quality A/D and D/A converters, with resolution of 24 bit. It has a touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 points, with 16 Millions of colors, associated with a specific data encoder, that make up the heart of the Qu-16 interface, providing super fast and very easy access to all settings.

It has 24 motorized ALPS faders, distributed over 2 Layers allowing, in a compact format, Instant access to all channels and masters, plus a master fader that dynamically follows the mixing section. There is also a third custom layer, that allows the user to configure a strip in which it is possible to assign any combination of inputs, FX Shipments, FX returns and mixing masters.

Qu-24 has 4 iLive Stereo FX Engines, including spectacular emulations of legendary classic reverbs, Gate Reverbs, Delays, Modulators, Flangers and more.

It also incorporates a USB recorder that provides recording and playback of 18 channels with resolution of 48 khz, 24 bit directly to and from a USB device.

GLD-AR2412 is the main AudioRack for the digital mixing system and provides 24 inputs via XLR connectors and 12 Outputs, also via XLR.

The connection is via a Cat5 cable, using Allen's dSNAKE communication protocol & Heath, which allows the AR2412 module to be located at a distance of up to 120 GLD-80 Mixer Meters. dSNAKE allows remote preamp control, and all mic preamps are recallable via scenes.

The Alto Marks, Allen & Heath, Apart, Crest and Audio-Technica are distributed in Spain through Lexon.
