Shure expands its line of high-end listening products and Sound Isolating technology
The KSE1500 electrostatic headphone system, SHA900 portable listening amplifier and SE846 headphones are incorporated into this audio manufacturer's line of high-end listening products.
Shure, represented in the Iberian market by the distributor Earpro, has added three new high-end models to its listening product line, recently presented at Fujiya Avic Headphone competition held in Tokyo, highlights include the KSE1500 electrostatic headphone system, the first Sound Isolating currently on the market for use with traditional and portable media players.
The KSE1500 is designed for users who want to improve their listening experience with optimal performance of their media players and with diaphragms that barely weigh. This implementation results in a faster response to transients, with accurate sound reproduction and a wider frequency range than dynamic transducer technologies.
Defining a new portable listening standard, the KSE1500 system includes a simple transducer Sound Isolating electrostatic headphones adapted to a digital-to-analog converter (DAC/ADC) that processes digital audio (mac, PC, ios, Android) directly via a micro-USB connection, and also accepts analog audio in its direct line input.
As Ron Hautzinger has pointed out, product manager at Shure Europe, "more than eight years of R&D and product engineering are achieving their result today with the introduction of the KSE1500. Shure already has a lot of experience in designing Sound Isolating headphones, but our challenge in creating this system was to combine that experience with the acoustic excellence of electrostatic technology".
Another novelty is SHA900, a portable audio amplifier with a digital-to-analog converter (Dac) for use with portable digital audio sources and high-quality headphones. It has a customizable four-band parametric equalizer and can process digital audio directly via a micro-USB connector. Like the KSE1500, can accept analog audio in its line input that bridges the DSP.
"Our research shows that customers are increasingly interested in high-resolution sound, offered by solutions that deliver improved audio performance. With this in mind, SHA900 is designed to properly power premium headphones linearly and stablely, to deliver a consistent listening experience", Hautzinger points out.
last, the transparent version of the Sound Isolating SE846 headset now features a new metallic black: SE846-K, with high-definition quad transducers in a three-way configuration for a dedicated bass distribution, medium and treble. These headphones feature a revolutionary low pass filter, a real subwoofer for low-frequency operation that sacrifices neither clarity nor detail, and high sensitivity.
