Madrid Destino promotes tourism in the capital with digital signage

The company Madrid Destination Culture, Tourism and Business, belonging to the Madrid City Council, is in charge of managing cultural programs and activities, formative and artistic, organization, support and dissemination of them, and the provision of all services associated with this activity, as well as the management of municipal policies for the promotion and tourist information of the city., the projection of its image at a national and international level and the management and exploitation of the intellectual property rights derived from the works that may generate such rights resulting from the previous activities..
Precisely to promote innovation in the tourism field of its activity, This municipal company has awarded the computer consulting firm Hebrew Systems the competition for the development of the Madrid tourist information database, in a project that also includes the supply of technological equipment, development of the presentation and data access layers of all systems and integration with the current Madrid Destino web portals.
In this project, Crambo Visuals has been in charge of the development of the digital signage network, based on media players Spinetix for the management and publication of content on a video wall composed of sixteen monitors 55 inches of model UD55D Samsung (in 4×2 configuration).
Added to this are the distribution of other standalone screens of different sizes., of the QM85D and DM65D models from this same manufacturer, in different areas of the Madrid Destino customer service office, which is located in the Casa de la Panadería in the emblematic Plaza Mayor.
The publication of the contents of the Madrid Destino digital signage system is managed remotely with the Elementi X control software from Spinetix, from which the contents displayed both on the video wall and on the rest of the monitors deployed in its headquarters are loaded and programmed.
