Led screens, projectors with moving mirrors and optical effects, the other Eurovision players 2016
The Ericcson Globen Arena in Stockholm, venue of the recent Eurovision Song Contest 2016, with capacity for more than 16.000 people and a height of 85 metre, has been an optimal scenario to show the spectacularity offered by Led visual systems and high brightness projectors, some of them equipped with movable mirrors.

This has been shown by the chain STV, responsible for the organization of the event under the production of technical director Ola Melzig, with the design of a creative stage (more data in Digital AV Magazine), in which Led video screens, that they occupied 600 m² in walls and 250 m² more in surface and floor; together with high brightness projectors and 1.500 Luminaires and moving heads allowed to create spectacular angular planes, Geometric and linear patterns, as well as optical illusion effects to accompany each performance in a unique way.
Both during the live shows of the semi-finals and in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 thirteen DLP projectors have been used 3 High-end chips HDQ-2K40 of the Belgian firm ship (supplied by your rental company Mediatec), ten of which were equipped with their MMS-200 moving mirror system, to facilitate image positioning in multiple locations.
To achieve this combination, four teams were placed in a FOH in front of the stage and others 6 standing behind it. Two additional HDQ-2K40 projectors were used for video mapping and one more unit for displaying special effects.. In addition, Mediatec also supplied four Barco HDX-W20 projectors and two FLM-HD18 as audience monitors.
The installation of the stage was also completed with 108 accessories developed by High End Systems (HES), Subsidiary company of the Belgian manufacturer, to create linear and aerial beam effects. All video projection was monitored with the Barco E2 screen management system to create a spectacular immersive audiovisual experience.
