Displax Skin Ultra Multitouch: contact algorithms for one hundred simultaneous touches
This new tactile foil solution uses a high-resolution conductive grid that detects a high number of inputs, up to a hundred touches moving simultaneously, for consistent contact across the entire screen area, sizes of 30 to 105 Inch.
The new multi-touch sheets developed by Displax form an ultra-tactile 'skin' on the screen through a high-resolution conductive grid that allows detecting up to one hundred simultaneous and independent touches, that combine with the company's contact algorithms to deliver a superior touch experience, with a response time of five milliseconds.
Contact sensor array is optimized for displays 30 to 105 Inch, with aspect ratio 16:9, to provide uniform and fast contact across the entire touchscreen area, which translates into more accurate and accurate touch detection.
The new Displax Skin Multitouch range also includes Skin Ultra Fit technology, that provides greater flexibility and adaptability so that integration with the structure is simple and fast. Being fully customizable, gives integrators creative freedom to design unusual and more attractive structures.
For its part, Displax Sense is a glass-based multitouch module that includes a touch controller and a contact sensor on the transparent foil, for a high-precision multi-touch experience on large format displays. This solution has no parallax effect and uses XTR-Shield noise filtering technology.
