The University of Kent modernizes its library with a network of digital signage

The University of Kent teaches more than 15.800 students at its Canterbury campus and has just celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. One of the most important parts of this school is the Templeman Library (Templeman Library), An area that has recently been remodeled, transforming it into a modern facility in which the latest technologies have been incorporated to promote learning. likewise, They also wanted to incorporate a digital signage strategy to ensure that critical information was delivered quickly and efficiently to students.
The solution required a network consisting of several screens, located in different locations of the library and that will be integrated with the center's internal systems.
Eclipse Digital worked with the University of Kent to carry out this project which is based on the 35 Screens of different sizes, that are part of the solution Samsung Smart Signage Platform, and cloud-based digital signage software Embed Signage.
“The library is a space visited by about 9.000 visitors per day and contains a wealth of information. This digital signage network has made management easier, helping students find equipment to use, Books or study space. In addition, Some screens are also used to show room availability, as well as promotions of events and services", Explains- Julia Crompton, Director of Marketing at the Templeman Library at the University of Kent.
The screens have been installed in a variety of environments, including digital kiosks, Totems in portrait format, wall-mounted and as touch tables.
