The interactivity marked the presence of Sono to Event Days 2016

The interactive virtual stage was one of the biggest attractions. In Sono they had already made other holographic installations, as Qeen's virtual performance in 'Your face rings a bell to me', And this time they adapted the technology to apply it to an event, Playing with point of view and depth.

The virtual assembly consisted of two screens of high resolution Leds. In the background was located one of 3,9 mm and 4×3 metre, and for the hologram another of 2,6 mm and 3×2 metre, as well as a special film that provides a high quality image and a high level of contrast.

One of the applications that were shown in this scenario consisted of a Keynote presentation on the events sector in Spain. It was possible to verify the great possibilities that this technology offers to achieve an original and innovative presentation in which graphics and 3D elements appear, float in motion and interact around the speaker.

The interactivity was given by a Kinect camera. The producer Onionlab She was in charge of designing and programming this virtual that offered a set of selectable holograms. With the movement of the hands, The assistant could choose which character he wanted to transform into and automatically the chosen hologram followed all his steps and movements floating in the air.

Multi-touch and semi-transparent screen

Continuing with the interactive proposals aimed at the presentation at events, Sono also showed a large format touch screen with different interaction possibilities. "This is a high-resolution LED display (2,6 Mm) with an integrated laser system that is capable of turning any surface into multi-touch. The programming through a content manager allows you to include all kinds of elements: texts, imagery, Videos, 3D objects... Overlay them in layers and play with them to create a completely personalized presentation", comments Francesc Comabella, Sono CTO.
