Takeshi Ishida takes over the management of Sony Iberia

Until now he was responsible for Sales and Distribution of Sony Mobile in the United States, now holds the new position replacing Shintaro Tanaka, who assumes the presidency of Sony Chile and Peru, and will have to report to Rick Londema, Senior VP Consumer Sales Sony Europe.

Takeshi Ishida, until now responsible for Sales and Distribution of Sony Mobile in the United States, has returned to the Consumer Electronics division assuming the leadership of Spain and Portugal. In his new position he comes to replace Shintaro Tanaka, who assumes the presidency of Sony Chile and Peru.

Among his competences as head of Sony Iberia, reporting directly to Rick Londema, Senior VP Consumer Sales Sony Europe, Sales management and coordination of all company teams are included.

His experience reinforces the strategy for the continuous improvement of the profitability of all operations throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

He started his professional career at Sony Japan in the year 1993. Two years later, established in Latin America, was responsible for creating the marketing product structure, developing the strategy that allowed the company to reach the first position in most of its categories.

in 2005, moved to the U.S. subsidiary to top the Home Audio category, consolidating Sony's presence in the premium segment. They were followed by the TV categories, HV, being finally responsible for the launch of the new 4K TV television standard.
