Tripleplay delivers digital signage hosted in cloud for Samsung Smart Signage Platform

La plataforma de alojamiento de digital signage en la nube de este fabricante se amplía ahora para la SSP de Samsung, tal y como se hacía hasta ahora con las televisiones y pantallas, sin necesidad de que los usuarios tengan que disponer de un media player o set top externo.

Tras la asociación realizada hace un año entre Tripleplay and Samsung para ofrecer una solución única e innovadora de transmisión de vídeo, IPTV y señalización digital directamente a la plataforma de señalización inteligente SSP del fabricante surcoreano (more data in this daily), esta colaboración se extiende ahora al sistema alojado en la nube TripleLite Digital Posters, sin necesidad de contar con un decodificador externo o reproductor de señalización digital

TripleLite Digital Posters is the digital signage solution in the cloud of Tripleplay that delivers content to screens around the world from the year 2012 across the range Amino Set Top Box. After the development of SOC (system on chip) on screens and the need to respond to customer demand to offer more options on screens, integration with Samsung SSP has raised the technological bar of this industry.

So says Steve Rickless, CEO of Tripleplay: "When we started working with Samsung and on its intelligent digital signage platform we realized that we could do something that others could not.: deliver secure IPTV streams embedded in digital signage. This innovation has resulted in the deployment of our solution with Samsung SSP to a large number of customers worldwide.".

In this sense, Rickless highlights the project carried out at the Daytona International Speedway circuit with the deployment of eight hundred Samsun SSP screens (More data of this project in Digital AV Magazine), that add to the thousands already operating worldwide. "This new advancement allows us to deliver our hardware platform at zero cost to the customer.; that only needs the Samsung SSP display and a network connection. Our cloud platform has a low monthly cost and allows to bring digital signage to companies and organizations that previously did not have enough budget and that with this announcement will be even more affordable".

Tripleplay continues to offer its Digital Poster service through the Amino Set Top Boxes range since due to live broadcast restrictions IPTV is not available through solutions hosted in digital signage cloud.
