Opened in April this year, The Ragnarock Museum is located in the Danish city of Roskilde, to 30 kilometers from Copenhagen. “The museum project began when a group of people from the music industry came together and realized that there was a need to document this culture and its history.. Rock and pop culture is very visual, So we wanted to recreate that feeling of belonging to a very lively and dynamic culture within the museum experience.", comments Jacob Westergaard Madsen, Museum Curator.

In a corner, The museum offers visitors the opportunity to listen to old models, Live recordings and alternate versions by well-known Danish artists, while another reviews the evolution of acoustics in music's long quest to find the perfect sound over decades..

The museum also includes a theatrical space that regularly hosts musical films and documentaries., reproduced with a Panasonic PT-RZ670 laser projector.

“It is a thematic exhibition and the first thing you find is a scenography and an activity that introduce you directly to the subject. We have a lot of films and audiovisual stories as a deeper level”, adds Westergaard Madsen.
