JLL's new corporate headquarters welcomes from a large video wall designed with MicroTiles
For this AV project, Christie's modular digital display cubes have been chosen to configure the video wall of 7×4 which has been mounted in the form of a rectangle on the nearest wall and visible from the entrance. In addition, has installed five FHD651-P LCD flat panels of 65 inches in different customer meeting rooms.
When the professional services and investment management company specialized in the real estate sector JLL decided to move its corporate headquarters in Madrid to Paseo de la Castellana, the company wanted to provide it in an avant-garde style that included striking visual solutions.
These new offices, where they work 220 people, have been designed by the Tétris, subsidiary of JLL itself and specialized in interior design projects for the tertiary sector. They have common areas of great capacity to adapt to various uses and an imposing design staircase that joins both floors.
In that environment, the Tétris team wanted to install a unique element for customers who arrived at the office and that would function as a powerful visual claim as a showcase for the company.
"We were looking for a solution that had image quality., ease of integration and large size", explains José E. Bonacho Camps, Head of Engineering and Associate Director of Tétris. His team contacted Ingevideo, your reference audiovisual provider and partner of Christie, and bet on MicroTiles.
"It is a technological product that we know and that we usually offer to our customers.. And for this particular project we chose it because the MicroTiles module has a good finish, with almost no borders separating the image between elements, and in large format it seems to us the best solution and with very good value for money. It is a modular system that allows modifications of its geometry and even play with the volumes on the display plane. Its shallow depth has allowed us to integrate it into the architecture of an area as representative as the reception of our offices", clarifies Bonacho Camps.
In this way, the first thing that catches the eye when entering the corporate headquarters is an attractive Christie MicroTiles video wall located at its reception. With a configuration of 7×4 and an output resolution of 1,920×1.080, is mounted in the form of a rectangle on the nearest wall and visible from the entrance. It is a strategic position for both clients and users who come to the office. Displays dynamic and corporate content (imagery, Videos, studies carried out in the company, Etc.) that keep both staff and visitors informed.
Contents are launched from a player AraCast CPL HD allows remote maintenance of the screen, as well as establish a playlist according to the needs.
The videowall is programmed to operate continuously between eight in the morning and 20:00 hours from Monday to Friday. One ECU (External Control Unit) Christie MicroTiles manages the modules. The unit's web interface allows you to monitor each module as well as calibrate color and brightness automatically and in real time.
"We like the versatility it offers when it comes to creating a large display., with minimal maintenance, shallow depth and minimal separation between modules. There is no doubt that the total resolution obtained is impressive.. It allows us to have the brightness almost to the minimum increasing the durability of the system. And the truth is that the feedback we are receiving from our staff and visitors is excellent for quality., aesthetics and flexibility", clarifies Bonacho Camps.
Flat panels in meeting rooms
In addition to are large video wall, the company has also installed five Christie FHD651-P flat panels in different customer meeting rooms. These commercial grade LCDs 65 inches with illuminated edge Led feature a very thin profile, with a thickness of 2,1 Inch. Offer Full HD resolution, brightness of 360 Nits, 1.070 millions of colors and contrast ratio 4.000:1.
"We made a comparison with other brands and chose the Christie FHD651-P for its technology., robustness, reliability and quality of components", ensures Camps.
The flat panels were installed by Ingevideo with motorized brackets Chief that allow you to store in closed furniture made to measure at the touch of a button. JLL staff use them to display content in client meetings, corporate presentations, committees, videoconferencing, Etc.
"This is a product with a reduced bezel design and ultra-narrow profile., aesthetically pleasing, that facilitates its integration into any environment. It also offers great reliability and is designed for prolonged operation during all the days and years of its use., producing bright and sharp images", comments Miguel Sánchez of Ingevideo.
The company is considering acquiring christie Brio's presentation and content sharing solution. "We considered it as an alternative to the currently existing wired connection. We must bet on wireless technologies", concludes the associate director of Tétris.
