Equaphon Introduces Msub System with Powersoft M-Force Technology

Powersoft's exclusive distributor for Argentina has developed, through its STS brand, this subwoofer equipped with the innovative M-Force linear magnetic motor.

The Argentine manufacturer of active and passive sound systems Equaphon available in the market, through its own STS production line, the new Msub subwoofer, which in addition to offering great power and sound clarity, integrates the M-Force linear magnetic motor of Powersoft, becoming the first company in Latin America to use this technology.

As Carlos Maiocchi has assured, Equaphon Manager, "We are very proud to be the first company in Latin America to use Powersoft's M-Force technology. It is a very big challenge, but we have great expectations because we know that Msub is a product that, in the short term, will lead the outdoor concert market segment, since you will end up having to set up hundreds of subs in a recital".

The company has also announced the possibility of Msub being the start of a new line of products using M-Force technology. "We are sure that this is a novelty for the market and we believe that, in the future, they will ask us for different systems but that integrate this technology, and it is up to us to listen to what the market needs", Maiocchi stresses.

Msub is a high-performance amplified subwoofer that features an innovative moving magnet electromagnetic motor that allows for a wide linear excursion range and minimizes thermal compression, bringing many advantages to sound systems.

Designed to achieve high sound pressure in the lower frequency band and set up cardioid arrays to control dispersion, Its main application is as a subwoofer system for high-power equipment in large spaces, outdoors or rooms where high sound pressure is required at very low frequencies.

It can also be applied as a complement to conventional systems (infra-sub), to improve performance or as the only way to sub-low. Like all STS systems, Msub can be controlled via Powersoft's Armonía Pro Audio Suite software.
