Crestron has begun to market the new Avia digital signal processors, a family composed of five models, offering a full range of professional features, optimize audio programming, commissioning and expansion in meeting rooms and videoconferencing.

The DSP-1283 is designed for use in meeting spaces and state-of-the-art collaboration environments. It provides high-performance AEC and complies with the strictest professional regulations in the 12 canals. Offers audio conferencing via VoIP and POTS, USB connectivity for videoconferencing via crestron RL solution 2 Skype for Business, and presentation with BYOD through crestron airmedia wireless portal. It also incorporates I/O expansion ports with digitalmedia blade server-based switches and amplifiers, thanks to Dante's audio network.

This line is completed with the new models DSP-1282, DSP-1281, DSP-1280 and DSP-860. All of them take advantage of the Avia audio tool for their design and programming.

"The Avia platform offers a new level of performance and simplicity for audio professionals. Programming, adjusting and expanding sound in meeting rooms is a very simple task with the signature audio tool, that incorporates channel strips with presets of microphone and speaker profiles, an on-access scanner and an exceptional echo canceler. likewise, it has audio controls and you can even export VU units to touch screens in a small fraction of the time", says Dennis Fink, Crestron's chief audio 18.

Avia audio tool provides a powerful and intuitive workspace that simplifies programming. Its channel architecture makes the configuration process easier, with a library of pre-configured stripes for Crestron microphones and speakers. Among the applications it includes is an on-access scanner (Rta), a virtual mixer, a state-of-the-art EQ editor and AEC processor.

Avia digital signal processors connect directly to Crestron's touchscreens without requiring a central control system. You do not need to write any code or design any interface, simply drag and drop channel strip objects to control and generate a touchscreen user interface, including vúmetros for visual confirmation that audio is passing through the system without the need for special test equipment.

These digital signal processors are part of Crestron's suite of audio solutions and Avia, which also includes a complementary line of network-controlled and monitored multi-channel amplifiers. Avia audio solutions are designed to collaborate with each other and deliver optimal audio experiences for better meetings in small spaces, presentation rooms and collaboration rooms.
