Christie tackles the next generation spyder for spectacular visual experiences

The X80 is the new multi-window and multi-screen processor ideal for the rental market and large format applications. Offers the ability to manage 4K at a speed of 60 hz.

Christie has unveiled the new processor of the Spyder line, the X80. An ideal solution for today's high image resolutions with the ability to manage 4K at a 60Hz refresh rate on a single channel. This team can be seen at its stand (2553) during InfoComm 2017, to be held between the 14 and the 16 June in Orlando (Florida).

The new multi-window and multi-screen processor offers numerous possibilities for rental and large format experiences, greatly facilitating the management and set-up of display walls and incorporating the latest standards and connectors, including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and 12G HDSDI.

The Christie Spyder X80 solves the needs of large and small display canvases and has enough power to ensure the demands of future solutions.

• Great display canvas support – The modular format with capacity for up to a maximum of 24 entries and 16 outputs and with all connections being able to display 4K at 60/50Hz, allows the user to enjoy 4K support for narrow pixel pitch Led, mosaic video walls and complex multi-display projection environments.

• All source content can be displayed freely on all kinds of displays, including landscape mode, thanks to the Spyder's ability to individually rotate content.
