Barcelona-El Prat Airport has incorporated a virtual assistant to the security filters of Terminals T1 and T2B with the aim of informing passengers about the steps they must follow to be able to access and pass the security control.
As reported Aena, This system aims to streamline the security process and improve the user experience, providing you with detailed information so that when you arrive at the checkpoint all your belongings are ready for inspection.
This hologram has been installed before the security filters so that the passenger receives advance instructions on how to prepare to go through the security control before arriving. Messages are broadcast in five languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, Russian and Chinese. For this initiative, the digital signage player has been used BrightSign HD1023.
This media player offers H.265 Full HD video decoder (1080p60), as well as HTML5 and simultaneous local video playback, Network & Streaming. Includes Ethernet Digabit, GPIO, Analog & Digital Audio, plus interactive options via USB 2.0 and RS232 serial port for control and communication with devices.
