Bayer installs an AV infrastructure at its headquarters in London that encourages collaboration and communication

The building has more than 60 common spaces where a wide range of AV devices has been installed, as NEC screens of different formats, Biamp collaboration systems and Cisco video conferencing systems. A complex infrastructure that is controlled by Crestron solutions.

The pharmaceutical company Bayer wanted its UK headquarters to be an environment where AV technologies prevailed and reflected the way the company works.. The solution should be able to connect within the infrastructure more than 400 Devices, which will have meeting areas on each floor and a spacious presentation room. In addition, should be compatible with systems already in place to take advantage of existing resources.

Focus 21 collaborated with the consultant MiX Consultancy, responsible for the design, to install an audiovisual system that allows to unify the business of this subsidiary with the headquarters of the company in Germany.

The building has more than 60 Common spaces for presentations and meetings, each equipped with a Crestron (Central Control System) which is fully integrated into Bayer's network. Versatile areas whose technology facilitates the use of devices and reinforces the corporate image of the company as an innovative organization driven by Life Science.

Each floor has different rooms in which different solutions have been installed that promote collaboration and communication. All AV installation is managed by Crestron Fusion RV, so administrators can remotely manage all this infrastructure in which IT and AV solutions are merged.

The presentation areas have the Skype For Business solution and incorporate a Crestron Digital Media Multiform transmitter, The collaboration solution Biamp for conference rooms, a webcam Logitech PTZ and the soundbar Innovox.

The images are displayed on Led screens of Nec. In fifteen rooms have been installed displays of 46 Inch, in three of 55, in three others 70 and in one has been implanted one of 80 Inch.

The building also has a restaurant area to cater for business lunches or more formal occasions. NEC screens have been installed here 32 Inch, as well as a Cisco videoconferencing system whose presentations are displayed on a NEC display of 46 Inch. It also has a DLP projector Christie DWU851. This is controlled by a Creston DM Matrix 32 system.×32 and a Dante audio network.

The Baylab Inspirational Space has been equipped with a NEC projector, a screen Draper of 109 Inch, intended for presentations, and display media SMART Kapp IQ Pro for interactive presentations, with multiple inputs controlled by a Creston panel that allows both wired and wireless presentations.

The project has more than 400 endpoints integrated into Bayer's network extending from video endpoints, VoIP interfaces, IPTV receivers, touch panels, Central controllers and wireless receivers.
