The first mapping in Valencia on a basketball court uses Christie technology

The 3D projection occupied an area of 25×15 meters and two Boxer 2K30 projectors were used for its execution, that were placed in tandem at a distance of 30 meters and working with wide-angle and inclined optics 17 degrees to cover the entire track. It was managed by a Dell Precision workstation 7710 equipped with Resolume Arena software 5.0.4.

The videomapping expert Chema Siscar has just carried out the first mapping in the Valencian community on a basketball court. The project has been carried out in the La Fonteta pavilion during the run-up to the third match of the semi-finals of the Endesa League, between Valencia Basket and Baskonia. Two projectors have been used for its execution Christie Boxer 2K30, operated by Pascual Rodrigo, Technical Director of the Valencian company Audiovisuales.tv.

When they were 10 minutes to the start of the match, the pavilion of La Fonteta darkened and became a large screen where a spectacular three-dimensional video mapping was projected that occupied an area of 25×15 meters and that served to commemorate the 30 anniversary of the Valencia Basket club.

The two projectors were placed in tandem, in the box reserved for the press, at a projection distance of 30 metre, Working with wide-angle and tilted lenses 17 degrees to cover the entire track.

The Boxer has the ability to omnidirectionally orient, which makes the installation and the possibilities of its location as flexible as possible. Already facing upwards, downwards, or with the angle that is required, The image maintains its integrity and uniformity during the show.

A workstation was used to manage the projectors Dell Precision 7710 equipped with audiovisual management software Resolume Sand 5.0.4. The realization of the videomapping, which lasted three minutes, was made possible thanks to the sponsorship of Endesa.
