Model 1 is an analog mixer designed especially for the professional DJ performing live, and provides new creative possibilities that allow different performances to be carried out. This team was presented by PLAYdifferently within the framework of the last festival of Sound and Audio-Technica Iberia collaborated in the stand set up by the British firm.
It is a mixer whose design, the result of the collaboration of DJ Richie Hawtin and engineer Andy Rigby-Jones, offers high build quality, Intuitive controls and all-analog circuitry delivers warm sound. The design of this new unit has been extended over a period of two years, during which it has undergone an intense process of testing and refinement by artists, Clubs and engineers from all over the world belonging to the electronic music community.
This exclusive product is manufactured under the brand name PLAYdifferently, and the person responsible for its distribution is Allen&Heath, which is also responsible for managing technical and after-sales service. Nevertheless, the mixer is manufactured at the DiGiCo group's facilities in the UK, group of companies to which he also belongs Allen & Heath.
In Spain, the exclusive distribution of Model 1 is by Audio-Technica Iberia, Allen distributor in Spain&Heath. It is a product that can only be purchased in stores and not in online media.
Model 1 It is a one hundred percent analog mixer, that offers technologies that are usually found in the best studio consoles, such as a fully balanced mix bus, zero-pass detection ensures optimal filter and EQ master operation, and high voltage supply differential lines. Its configuration offers six fully equipped input channels, and two stereo returns with a more basic configuration.
Likewise, It also has other types of features such as the Drive control located in the preamplifier, a hybrid filter/sweep EQ, Double pre-listening system, system for linking two mixers and a fully balanced connector for the Tascam DB25 system.
