Tomorrowland streams five continents with simultaneous lighting control
For the second year in a row, festival managers have made a live connection from Belgium to eight countries around the world, where all the scenarios worked simultaneously the lighting of each of them under the control of the consoles of MA Lighting.
The international electronic music festival Tomorrowland, an unmissable event for fans of electronic music that annually takes place in the Belgian town of Boom, has joined in its edition 2017 and for the second consecutive year to eight countries of the world, via streaming, participating in Unite with Tomorrowland.
This initiative arose in 2016, when those responsible for this festival connected live with Mumbai and Mexico City, that in this year's edition has been extended to countries on five continents, where the screens of their stages showed live what was happening in Tomorrowland 2017.
At the level of stage lighting, this simultaneous connection of the scenarios has been made through a remotely controlled network from Belgium, using up to thirteen GrandMA2 consoles, eight GrandMA2 light, a GrandMA2 ultra light, two GrandMA fader wing, two MA on PC command wing and one MA on PC fader wing from the manufacturer MA Lighting (Team of Albadalejo, as described on its website Stonex, Distributor of this lighting brand in the Spanish market).
GrandMA2 is considered a benchmark at the level of lighting control and is the most powerful console of MA Lighting, whose technology facilitates a comfortable and flexible programming that offers multiple possibilities and effects, To which is added the varied possibilities of remote accesses thanks to its web controller.
