First 360º video mapping on trees to raise awareness about famine in the world
The Sabatini gardens in Madrid have been the setting chosen by the NGO Action Against Hunger, to carry out this impressive and sensitizing projection on the occasion of World Food Day, made by Otucinema, Romera and Design, The Horn and Fluge.
With the slogan 'wars trigger hunger', the NGO Action Against Hunger, with the financing and collaboration of the Madrid City Council, organized in the recent celebration of World Food Day, a powerful free video projection event on the trees of the Sabatini Gardens (in three different countries), the first to be carried out so far in Spain.
This audiovisual piece, fifteen-minute discussion of hunger in countries in conflict around the world, has been made by the founder of Vjspain, Oscar Testón (Otu Cinema), together with companies Romera and Design, The Horn and Fluge. The same team that made a 360º immersive videomapping show a few months ago, lights and sound on the occasion of the IV Centenary of the Plaza Mayor in Madrid (More information at Digital AV).
For the technical realization of this video mapping, in which a team of twenty-five professionals has worked, Four state-of-the-art, low-consumption laser projectors from the Belgian firm have been used Ship, who have offered a total of 120.000 lumens of light power and 10.000 360º Sound Watts.
An immersive audiovisual show "that has enveloped the public with the aim of raising awareness among the population to break the cycle between hunger and war", along with the 'War and Hunger' lighting.
According to data from Action Against Hunger, Six out of ten hungry people live in countries in conflict and this situation of war has led to an increase in hunger for the first time in twenty years.
