Biamp Systems expands its range of solutions for conference rooms

in Ise 2018, which is celebrated among the 6 and the 9 February in Amsterdam, at the stand of Biamp Systems (3-B120) their latest innovations will be shown, including a new PoE+ amplification technology (Power Over Ethernet) and a series of Beamtracking ceiling microphones designed for optimal experience in conferencing applications.

Biamp's digital room solutions are designed to reduce integrator programming time, while providing crystal clear audio quality and an economical solution to end users.

Our new microphone and amplification technologies facilitate an increase in productivity while getting the best audio quality", explains Zach Snook, Audio Product Manager at Biamp Systems.

Allowing a complete coverage of 360 Degrees, each new Tesira microphone uses Biamp Beamtracking technology to identify and block the sound source, even if the speaker is moving. With very little adjustment needed, Tesira Beamtracking ceiling microphones intelligently locate and mix conversations around the table, allowing all people to be heard.

Three are the new Tesira models that Biamp Systems will unveil at ISE 2018 and, later at the stand of Gaplasa in AFIAL 2018, to be held in Madrid del 27 from February to 1 March.

These are the AVB ceiling microphones with integrated DSP for beamtracking TCM-1 and TCM-1A, and TCM-1EX expansion system. To these is added the four-channel PoE+ amplifier Tesira AMP-450P, that can be located where needed, including above false ceilings. It is well equipped for ceiling speakers, surface and mix-minus systems. It is capable of working in 'burst' mode to handle peaks, providing up to 50 W per channel.

Tesira offers various options for conference rooms of all sizes. For small rooms, has solutions that use a single Ethernet cable to connect a TesiraForté AVB VT4 to the new Beamtracking Microphone Tesira TCM-1A for optimal conferencing. For larger rooms, a TesiraForté AVB VT can be used in conjunction with the Tesira AMP-450P and TCM-1 to achieve the best sound quality in the room.

New Tesira Beamtracking microphones:

• TCM-1: AVB ceiling microphone with integrated DSP for beamtracking.
• TCM-1A: the same features as TCM-1 plus a PoE+ amplifier 2 channels with 'burst power' mode.
• TCM-1EX: expansion microphone specifically designed to cascade to a microphone
• TCM-1 or TCM-1A to increase the coverage surface.
