Powersoft to Preview M-Force Transducer at Prolight+Sound 2018
This Powersoft transducer offers innovative amplification in switching mode, that overcomes the limitations that traditional ones had until now, as shown at the German fair.
Of the 10 to the 13 of April of this month of April, Powersoft will be presented for the first time at Prolight+Sound 2018, held at Messe Frankfurt (hall 3.1 – booth C17), M-Force, a transducer "that behaves in a completely different way compared to traditional ones, thanks to its parallel moving magnets that generate linear motion, overcoming all the limitations of handling loads".
This linear motion occurs without the need for a rotary-to-linear converter, so that M-Force becomes a native push-pull device, Capable of delivering perfectly symmetrical operation.
In this way, the force alone allows to significantly reduce the ratio between volume and SPL of the box, while maintaining optimal sound performance, with extremely deep and defined bass.
M-Force is capable of handling forces up to twenty times larger than traditional transducers, unfurling a whole new spectrum of application possibilities that is not necessarily limited to the field of audio.
Other solutions added by M-Force 301P01 that simplify the work of Powersoft OEM partners include easy installation, as the motor and diaphragm are now coupled in a robust chassis; Better heat dissipation; Better magnetic spring action, since the motor and magnets are separated to offer linear movement without the need for an external spring, as well as high-voltage connectors integrated within the motor itself.
