D&b GSL: reinforcement speakers for large spaces

Each speaker is amplified in active two-way mode using the D80 amplifier from d&B: One channel activates 14" motors, and for all other components the frequency is divided and passively activated by a second channel.

The SL-Sub and SL-GSub complement the bass with two forward-facing 21" drivers and a single rear-facing 21" driver that delivers cardioid dispersion.

The former can be hung while the latter is designed for above-ground stacking applications. Amplified in active two-way mode from two channels of the D80 amplifier, its SPL and dynamic range reduce the number of subwoofers normally needed.

To complete this exhaustive set, which was presented at the last edition of Prolight+Sound 2018, The SL Series includes a proprietary combination of tension and compression modes and procedures for three-point rigging of d&B.
