Antequera Light Fest 2018 It had Power AV for the staging of light and sound shows

He Antequera City Council has once again organized Antequera Light Fest (ALF) To commemorate the anniversary of the declaration of the Site of the Slumes (Integrated by Menga's, VIERA AND THE ROMERAL, as well as for the Peña de los Enamorados and El Torcal) As Unesco World Heritage.

In 2016 There was a first embryo of what the first year would be the first edition of Alf, But it has been in this 2018 When the event has definitely strengthened as an appointment of tourist and cultural interest.

During the nights of the days 13 y 14 July Malaga city offered the local audience and visitors a multiple audiovisual show to show its streets and architectural monuments in a very special way.

Power off participated in that first initiative held in 2016 And since then it has been, From the hand of the agency Womack, The person responsible for the audiovisual technical part. In this latest edition it has been present in four of the six spaces that have integrated the ALF 2018: In the square of the notaries, projecting a 3D videomapping, In the Plaza de San Sebastián with the show ‘Beats’, In the City Council, Filling the courtyard of ‘Atmospheres’ and in the San Luis building projecting what José Medina Galeote was drawing live.

Real Collegiate of Santa María la Mayor

The videomapping made about the Royal Collegiate of Santa María la Mayor (WRITING SQUARE) managed to make this majestic building come to life, becoming the most colorful and popular show of Alf 2018.

Power AV was responsible for the Technical Directorate of the Project, planimetría, PROJECTION AND SONORIZATION OF SPACE. For its staging, 3DLP laser projectors were used Panasonic PT-RZ31KEJ 30K of latest generation, and for its management the system was used Dataton WatchOut. Regarding the sound, the Leopard system and the 900-LFC subgraves of Meyer Sound.

San Sebastián Square

In the show ‘beats’, The challenge was to create, Through lighting, A magical atmosphere, capable of stimulating the viewer and introducing him, As it passes through the Plaza de San Sebastián, In an exciting and mysterious environment.

From this concept and working on the perimeter volumes of space, Power Av I create different lighting plans, Playing with colors, Texturizing the facades surrounding this newly renovated square and completing it with the projection on them of verses of Antequeran poets.

All of that was achieved with the use of more than 40 Robotized heads and last generation RGB swimsuits, as well as with the assembly of a 360º perimeter sound and with the synchronization of all the elements with a ‘time code’.

San Luis Building

For the show ‘Light brushes’, The challenge was to develop a show in which the works of the Antequerano artist Jose Medina were painted live and direct on an iPad, But so that the present public simultaneously contemplated how these works came to life, by projection, On the facade of the San Luis building.

To be able to carry out this project the company Maxpel Producciones had to develop a custom application. Power Av also took care of all the technique of this space.

City Hall courtyard

The fourth space in which Power Av has participated has been ‘atmospheres’, A light installation designed specifically for the portico patio of the City of Antequera. The central source became a true light source that invaded the entire architecture of the building. Light generated a space for reflection in which, Thanks to color psychology, The visitor could live a sensory and emotional experience.

From that idea silver by Womack's creative team, Power AV developed a light design, according to the building architecture. And to create this intimate atmosphere they used latest generation, a surround sound and a large number of smoke machines.
