A spectacular videomapping turns the Alcázar into the protagonist of Luz Toledo 2018

Power AV has supported Acciona Producciones y Diseño in this initiative with Panasonic 30K laser projectors, dozens of robotized Martin and Clay Paky, and Leopard teams, Lina and Galilleo by Meyer Sound for sound.

The weekend of the 6 September, Toledo has once again attracted the attention of thousands of people with an audiovisual show that has filled the city with light and sound.

As already published in Digital AV Magazine, the Luz Toledo initiative 2018 has included the audiovisual show 'Toledo, the universal city', whose design and execution it has been responsible for Acciona Productions and Design and in which he has actively participated Power AV.

In the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, The show has shown the universal contribution of the city and its historical legacy, cultural, Artistic and literary. On this occasion the stage has been the north façade of the Alcázar. This has become a large screen on which a videomapping has been projected whose content has covered milestones and essential enclaves to understand the history of Toledo.

The projection of the Roman Palace of the third century, the simulation of the opening of the Alcázar so that the viewer could visualize the artistic heritage, literary, Landscape and gastronomic of the city, and the tour of different iconographies and artistic styles were the most acclaimed moments by the spectators who attended the event.

There have been several thousand people who have been able to enjoy the 16 Passes of a spectacular videomapping. in 14 minutes reviewed the history of the city, of the building itself, of the relations that the city maintains with homonymous cities spread throughout the world and of the importance of the Tagus for the city and its historical evolution.

This was the main show of the Luz Toledo initiative 2018, but the neighbors and visitors who came to the Plaza Zocodover could also enjoy the show Atmospheres, that allowed to transform this space and turn it into a dreamlike enclave, using laser light lines, Artificial fog and music.

AV Equipment

Power AV has supported Acciona Producciones y Diseño with more than 20 Lighting technicians, video, sound, Structures, Etc. And with some of its most representative equipment among which projectors stand out Panasonic 30K laser, dozens of robotized Martin and Clay Paky, and Leopard teams, Lina and Galilleo of Meyer Sound that were used to sound the two spaces.

For the lighting of the show 'Atmospheres' were used robotic Martin Mac Quantum Profile, Pair Led Chauvet Well Fit, smoke machines Steal Haze 500 FT Pro and Control Chamsys Stadium MQ500. And to sound the Plaza Zocodover was counted on Line Arraya Lina, USW1P subwoofers and Galileo Galaxy processor 816. All of it from Meyer Sound.

For the videomapping projected in the Alcázar three towers were installed Layher, necessary to gain the appropriate height and project from the roof of the Army Museum on the Alcázar building.

Different projectors were also installed, among which stand out the Panasonic Laser 3DLP 30K provided by Power AV. In addition to the projection, The scenography was complemented by a great lighting work, for which Mythos2 and Clay Paky's Scenius Profile were used, Robe Haze smoke machines 500 FT Pro and Chamsys Stadium MQ500 control.

The video featured a soundtrack created especially for the occasion.. To get it in perfect condition to the public, Leopard speakers were installed, subwoofer 900-LFC and Galileo Galaxy processor 816, all Meyer Sound brand.
