The T2 of the Incheon airport implements a complete digital signage solution with LG
more than 500 LG screens, in different formats, sizes and configurations, have been installed in the Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport to form a dynamic digital signage network.

This year it opened a second terminal to continue providing passengers with the best possible service.. and, with object, to be able to offer an optimal dynamic signaling experience, Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), company that operates this airport, partnered again with LG Information Display.
“The IIAC was not only looking for a digital signage solution that allowed to show information daily, wanted something new and innovative, something that could be considered a work of art”, says Jong-soo Lee, LG Information Display manager.

To respond to these requirements LG Information Display has installed in the arrival hall Ultra Stretch screens of 86 Inch, that act as video canvases, and displays of 55 inches that create a large elongated videowall in the TransportAtion Center.
After going through immigration and waiting for your luggage to arrive, passengers encounter LG's screens of 55 inches installed in the luggage carousels forming a large videowall. These teams come together in groups of four to create larger screens that show the different destinations and invite passengers to visit these iconic landmarks..
After going through customs, many passengers flock to the Transportation Center to head to their final destinations. In this area the most striking element is a videowall of 175 meters long extending along three of the walls.
Composed of 256 display units 55 Inch, this is the longest video wall of its kind in Korea and displays information about bus schedules along with informative videos and advertising. The ultra-narrow bezel of 3,5 Mm, together with the wide viewing angle and high definition resolution allows for an optimal uninterrupted viewing experience.
These screens of 55 inches are also used in the departure lounge to advertise duty-free products available in the shopping area. Although many of these videowall are installed several meters above ground level, its wide viewing angles allow passers-by to clearly see what is being visualized even when walking underneath.
In the restaurant area, LG has also implemented its solutions with models 43, 47 and 49 inches that are used as smart menu screens (smart menus). Although many of these displays are installed at three meters high, color and image quality remain constant no matter what angle passengers look from.
Throughout the Terminal 2, passengers have a wide variety of LG information screens from the moment they enter until they finish their visit to the terminal of this airport. In total, has implemented more than 500 screens to provide passengers with a unique visual experience that conveys the dynamic spirit of Korea.
Incheon International Airport is today the benchmark for airports around the world, due in large part to its innovative and creative digital signage solutions.
