The immersive and multisensory experience 'Van Gogh Alive’ continues his tour of Spain
After its premiere in Seville, last spring, and continue his tour of Alicante, the multimedia exhibition Van Gogh Alive – The Experience will arrive in December in Madrid. For its staging, the Sensory4 technology of Grande Exhibitions is used, combining multi-channel motion graphics, cinema-quality surround sound and up to 40 high definition projectors.
The most visited multimedia and multisensory exhibition in the world, Van Gogh Alive-The Experience, began last spring his tour of Spain in Seville, the day 13 october will arrive at the Fish Market in Alicante and in December at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
Created by the Australian company Large Exhibitions, offers an immersive experience, that combines 3.000 moving images, light and music, and proposes a unique and unforgettable way to approach the work and personality of the great genius of painting.
After its premiere in Seville, the Fish Market of Alicante is the second stop on the Spanish tour of Van Gogh Alive – The Experience, organized by Nomad Art, that has traveled so far around 40 cities around the world and conquered millions of people.

For more than a century the works of Vincent Van Gogh have been exhibited in the most prestigious museums in the world, but never like this. This is not an ordinary art exhibition, but of a multisensory experience in which the work of the Dutch painter comes to life before the eyes of visitors. A cultural proposal for all audiences, which combines the artistic genius of the Dutch painter, entertainment and didactic character.
The spectator has the option of strolling freely through the exhibition hall or lying in a pouf and being enveloped by a vibrant symphony of lights, colours and sounds offered thanks to the innovative Sensory4 technology.
The most 3.000 images are displayed on screens six meters high, transform each surface and cover walls, columns and even soils. This allows you to enjoy all the details of the works and even contemplate the oscillation of the constellations that Van Gogh captured in The Starry Night, the famous painting of The Sunflowers or see how the birds of their famous take flight Wheat field with crows, in addition to being impressed by the mysterious character of his self-portraits or the familiar painting The Bedroom of Arles.
The proposal that Nomad Art offers the opportunity to examine Van Gogh's sources of inspiration, his life, your thoughts and mood through panels, photographs and videos that portray his prolific period of work between the years 1880 and 1890.
The exhibition also has a corner reserved for children and an art room to learn to paint like Van Gogh, with the help of video tutorials made by expert artists.
This experience has already traveled around 40 cities on four continents, including Berlin, Rome, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Beijing, Santiago de Chile, Warsaw, Bogota, Budapest, Istanbul, Phoenix, Tel Aviv or Lisbon.

This technology can transform any exhibition space and create a dynamic experience, informative and visually spectacular. Highly detailed images flow through the plethora of projectors and combine with digital surround sound to saturate the space on a stunning immersive display.
Sensory4 is a system designed to be used in places of about a thousand square meters and for minimum heights of 5 metre. However, its flexibility allows it to adapt to spaces of any size, with ceilings lower/higher than five meters.
