Versatile and powerful, this ultra-compact two-input switch developed by Rolad is a video production solution for a wide range of applications, like livestreaming and presentations.

The V multi-format video mixer-02HD Roland Professional A/V combines a simple switch, a high-quality climber, an input expander and an audio and effects/video composition solution built into a laptop.

This ultra-compact 'microswitch' is designed to solve problems in livestreaming and video production, and fits in most camera covers, making it easier to use in any production, in addition to easily attaching to standard video mounts and tripods.

Roland V-02HD offers professional switching with cross-dissolve between sources, maintaining a high screen resolution to the pixel, with color space 4:4:4 to 10 Bit. It can also transform two-camera filming into a simple one-person-controlled production, providing a reliable system for recording and livestreaming effortless.

This equipment supports the outputs of two HDMI cameras and switches seamlessly to a recorder or encoder livestreaming connected. Thanks to its simple operation with two buttons, even an in-experience user can perform professional switching from multiple sources, and it is also possible to use an optional pedal switch.

Although not all HDMI equipment is supported, Roland V-02HD adjusts them to the resolution of the receiving equipment and then resizes the signal based on the corresponding display, offering input and output climbers, as well as HDCP/multi-format support. It also supports SD resolutions, HD and computer from 1,080/59.94p to 640×480/60 Hz VGA.

Front panel controls allow you to apply transition tools, composition and visual effects in real time. It has fourteen visual effects and five composition, with adjustable parameters to tweak the results, operators can use to add titles, apply the Key effect and work with green screen or create an inserted window with pinp function.

This system mixes two-channel audio from sources with HDMI descaling, along with an analog audio input for external sources, using a jack of 3,5 Mm. The equipment supports analog and digital audio LINEAR PCM to 24 bits/48 kHz, embedded in HDMI outputs for recording and livestreaming, as well as analog output to a specific audio mixer or other equipment, either for headphone monitoring using a second jack 3,5 Mm.

Integrated audio processing includes a three-band equalizer, high-pass filter, compressor, noise gate, multiband compressor, limiter and delay, in addition to a test sound output.

An integrated effects library offers presets to manage standard production applications (interviews, ambient sound recording and outdoor wind noise removal). These tools work even with built-in HDMI signals, allowing you to fix audio problems without leaving the digital environment.
