Ise 2019: ClearOne shows its advanced microphone array for ceiling installation

Thanks to the acoustic and noise echo cancellation that incorporates, together with the beam selection offered by BMA CT, beam processing in a DSP mixer is eliminated, which requires fewer resources in it.

Its simplicity is based on the power amplifier that incorporates the array, so that each array handles two speakers of 10 watts and 8 Ohms. Integrators can daisy-chain roof trays via P-Link (ClearOne's proprietary peripheral link) for larger conferencing configurations, which simplifies cabling and allows longer distances compared to home network connections.

P-Link also allows integrators to daisy-chain additional peripherals such as wireless microphones and USB and GPIO expanders.. The system supports this functionality with zero analog I/O consumption and signal processing in the DSP mixer, leaving those resources available for other needs.

Capable of daisy-chaining up to three sets of ceiling microphones (at a maximum of 200 meters between each), a Converge Pro mixer 2 Low channel count can support multiple rooms, with a full cable range of 600 metre.

ClearOne Pro Console software greatly simplifies set-up, eliminating separate switch configuration and programming, Microphones, audio networks and DSP mixers. It also uses automatic detection to capture all connected BMA equipment and P-Link peripherals.
