DAS Audio designs the sound system of the tennis center of the Asian Games of 2022
The complex that will host this sporting event has in its new tennis center digital speakers and amplifiers from this manufacturer that provide the coverage, Power and acoustic safety to the new venue.
The XIV World Aquatics Championships (25M), held at the end of last year, Tested the acoustics of the new tennis centre, which is part of the Olympic Sports Centre where the Asian Games will be held in 2022, in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, and the sound system DAS Audio, that met expectations for audio quality and coverage expected.
Destined to become a reference for hosting major sporting events, national and international, The sound system of the new tennis centre not only had to meet the above requirements and be integrated into the modern design of the facilities, but also ensure safety and reliability.
The DAS Audio China team worked closely with the local engineering contractor, Collaborating together on design, Installation Preparation and Completion, Specially designed for this stadium.
In record time, The sound amplification system was installed and adjusted to the highest standards to provide clarity and intelligibility in each of the seats in the venue.
In this sense, The pavilion has a tennis court to host the finals that can accommodate 10.000 Spectators; Two venues for semi-final matches, each with 2.000 seats, and a temporary swimming pool with 6.000 seats, Built on top of the main track.
The versatility of the tennis center and the design (Unique in the world) of its roof posed a challenge for the acoustic installation, as it was necessary to ensure uniform and powerful coverage in all stands.
The impressive swivel retractable roof, made up of eight movable 'petals', that open or close depending on weather conditions, required a weatherproof audio system that, In addition, will work at the highest level, regardless of the position of the cover.
For this reason, DAS Audio's HQ series loudspeakers were chosen, IP54 certified, Specially designed for medium and large installations, that provides control in coverage, Long throw and high power capacity. These speakers include coatings, indoor and outdoor, for increased weather resistance and durability in extreme conditions.
The new DX series digital amplifier has also been installed (100I/80I), with built-in DSP processor, and the Dante transmission protocol. To improve the reliability and stability of the installation, it uses the redundancy of this audio network.
Regarding the coverage of the tennis center, the system has been accurately distributed throughout the facility across four HQ clusters 212.95 flown over the East and West stands; twelve HQ clusters 212.95 overhang over the North and South stands; Six HQ clusters 212.95 flown over the main runway; Four HQ clusters 212.64 flown in the VIP area and two Vantecs 12 as floor monitors in front of the podium.
