"This year, Samsung's great bet on digital signage focuses on 8K ", Yilka Rodriguez
In ISE 2019 presented its QLED 8K range, as well as the first HDR Led screen, capable of displaying content in 8K, and its flagship The Wall, in a 292" version. Also for the digital signage market are new the semi-exterior lines OMN / OMN-D, and the 4K QMR and QBR series.
Ultra high definition has been the main protagonist of Samsung's assistance to Ise 2019 and it is also the key element of the novelties that the company is launching to the market.
Santiago Verdú, CEO of Charmex International, distributor of Samsung, introduces in this video interview the novelties that were presented in Amsterdam.
In ISE 2019 could see the most innovative in commercial screens from the hand of QLED monitors, that offer an image quality in 8K. In addition, the company highlighted how the future of the display market evolves with technology for The Wall and Multi-Link Led HDR for signage.
"Like every year, we have come to ISE to show the company's commitment to R&D with innovative solutions that respond to business needs for each of the verticals", explains Yilka Rodríguez, B2B Visual Display Product Manager Samsung.
The maximum representative in 8K solutions is the QLED 8K screen of 82 Inch, combining the highest resolution on the market with Artificial Intelligence scaling technology (AI), with very real images and that allows you to enjoy much more immersive viewing experiences.
"This is our first QLED 8K product range, which is not only able to display content in this resolution but also, through Artificial Intelligence, allows you to scale content in lower resolution towards 8K", clarifies Yilka.
Scaling technology with Artificial Intelligence in commercial screens allows to capture the attention of potential customers, and for store owners and advertisers, this means higher content production with lower costs and lower resolution, which can then be displayed with a higher resolution in 8K quality.
The modular large format screen The Wall has been another of the great novelties of Samsung with a version of 292 inches in 8K.
Its slim, frameless design, with infinite screen, allows the panel to blend subtly with its surroundings. Your 'Ambient Mode'’ allows you to customize it with content such as photos and art, and match the background to complement your environment. To fit any space can be customized with a decoration frame.
The third big bet of the company has been the presentation of the Multi-Link Led HDR, which according to Samsung is the first HDR Led screen capable of displaying content in 8K. Using your own algorithm and scene analysis, converts any content to HDR quality, without any special meta-data.
last, and focusing on the digital sigange market, Samsung has launched the OMN/OMN-D series of semi-outdoor screens. Available in sizes of 46 and 55 Inch, offer businesses an eye-catching solution with live content, sharp and excellent visibility, even in direct sunlight. They offer a brightness of 4.000 nits and a contrast ratio of 5.000:1.
The OMN-D series is displayed as a double-sided display that allows content to be displayed inside and outside the store, increasing the possibilities of sales inside and outside the establishment. Both displays have an IP5X certification, dustproof, and three-step overheating protection for long-lasting performance, together with the integrated MagicINFO S6 solution, with Tizen 4.0 for optimized content management.
Also for digital signage applications are designed the new 4K screens of the QMR and QBR series, integrated by models ranging from the 43 at 75 Inch. They incorporate an intelligent scaling engine, IPX5 dustproof certification, the KNOX and WiFi security solution for wireless management.
