'Light and Son of Hercules'

The shared protagonism between the Tower of Hercules and the old sailor, that speaks of the sea and its idyll -half love and half hatred for the storms lived-allows to draw a plot thread that not only puts in value the history of this monument World Heritage Site, it will also provide an emotional audiovisual piece, exciting and spectacular for its gimmicky 3D production and its careful soundtrack created ex profeso.

The memory of the old sailor immerses the viewer in a nostalgic and epic journey in time that will take him to visit mythical and real scenes, like the battle between the God Hercules and the Giant Gerion. He will also talk about the great Atlantic routes of the navigators, of how the lighthouse, since its construction, serves as a guide to sailors, and on how this great Tower became a sign and silent witness of the history of the city of A Coruña.

The journey that begins in the past will be projected forward in a dizzying way to reach the foundation of the city of A Coruña, when it takes center stage and also becomes universal path through the Xacobeo road.

The story will conclude in the present to put the focus on a cosmopolitan and modern city that projects towards a future in which the city, the sea and the tower share idyll and in which they have a place not only those sailors who arrive beyond the seas, but all those who come from all over the world.

The weight of the narrative script of the show will be shared by the character of the old sailor and by the female voice that is personalized in The Tower of Hercules. This narrative duality will allow the story to be told from a double perspective. A romantic, emotional and poetic, with the voice of the sailor, and another from a more historical point of view, epic and with the wisdom of the centuries written in stone, with the voice of the Tower.
