Crestron transforms commercial displays with DM-NVX-D80-IoAV network decoder

This advanced solution, of 1 GB for 4K/60 applications, allows you to connect displays in the AV over IP environment with the help of Intel and OPS technologies.

Commercial displays from leading market manufacturers now become DM NVX endpoints thanks to the DM-NVX-D80-IoAV network encoder, with technology Intel and the open connection specification (Paho), What Crestron has been featured in the market during its recent participation in InfoComm 2019 in Orlando.

In its development, Crestron has worked with Intel to deliver a native network AV solution for the world's leading screen manufacturers, like LG, NEC Display, Philips, Avocor and Smart.

The NVX DM network decoder, based on OPS and plug and play, can instantly transform a screen into a native DM NVX endpoint, allowing the screens of these providers to deliver 4K audio and video over any network.

As Fred Bargetzi explains, Crestron's Chief Technology Officer, "working with the best talent at Intel, we created an AV over IP solution 1 GB, 4K/60, based on this company's standard open PAHO slot. DM-NVX-D80-IoAV connects native OPS slots on the back of professional displays, adding enterprise-level security and Crestron XIO Cloud management, based on Microsoft Azure technology".

Interoperability and flexibility have been key drivers in the design of the DM-NVX-D80-IoAV.La paHO-compatible display range enables tailor-made solutions that fit any 4K application.

In addition, its format allows the screens to mount easily on the wall and feed on the screen itself, thanks to PAHO, without the need to deploy wiring or external power supplies, reducing installation costs to deliver an integrated AV solution.

This smart technology integrates with Crestron XiO Cloud, an IoT-based platform that enables undes scheduled system deployment, with the ability to monitor, manage and control each screen from a centralized location.
