The power of the new Augment3d software update offers a differential way to create lighting spaces working with three dimensions and augmented reality.

The new software update for the EOS consoles from ETC includes the Augment3d 3D and augmented reality visualizer, An innovative tool designed to save time and costs throughout the process of setting up a lighting show.

Augment3d is the manufacturer's first integrated 3D programming environment that offers professionals the ability to virtually design and control three-dimensional space, in addition to using new augmented reality technology, Fully integrated into EOS remote applications.

While the final version of this three-dimensional visualizer is expected to be available next fall, There will be a beta this summer, and therefore ETC has already started sharing information to get the most out of this visualizer (in the attached video) on the channel that Stonex, official distributor of this brand in Spain, has on YouTube.

The main function of the system is to work in conjunction with the EOS consoles, from Element to You, but Augment3d is expected to be integrated with other ETC controls in the near term, since the company's objective is to deploy this new proposal to all its business lines.

One of Augment3d's strengths is that it doesn't focus solely on 3D modeling – there is software on the market that does an impeccable job in this field, As the company emphasizes-, but it allows you to import any creation that the user has from another program, thanks to its support for a multitude of file types. Enhanced integrations with Vectorworks are currently in the works.

For users who do not work with 3D modelers, The program itself has a wide variety of objects in stock to create a space from scratch by adding appliances, furniture and even people. The software is designed to work with the way light is distributed in space.

Augment3d has a simple and intuitive interface for both adding objects and importing projects, as well as to move around the space or change the view of it. It is a very useful tool to calculate at a glance what a lit space will look like and optimize the programming process.
