The Vivint Smart Home Arena renews its AV infrastructure with Extron
The renovation has had significant AV improvements that include more than 600 Digital signage displays and major changes in multimedia experiences in clubs and suites.
Recientemente se ha realizado una renovación, that has had an investment of 125 millones de dólares y ha permitido incorporar importantes mejoras AV, including more than 600 Digital signage displays and big changes to multimedia experiences in clubs and suites.
TVS Pro, division TV Specialists, has designed and installed the new AV control and transmission systems to provide multimedia content to 56 luxury suites, Four clubs, the coaches' room and the players' changing rooms.
Different DTP solutions were chosen from Extron for AV distribution; while TouchLink Pro touchscreens and MediaLink pushbuttons from this manufacturer work in combination with IP Link Pro control processors to provide intuitive control of AV systems.
TVS Pro chose Extron products to provide a consistent user experience and ease of system maintenance.
"Before you upgrade with Extron, if a television or Blu-ray player was replaced with a different model, a certified programmer was used to modify the drivers of the control system. Thanks to the Extron Pro Series Control System, the AV technicians at the Vivint Arena can make these changes without requiring external assistance.", explains Brent Parker, TVS Pro Sales & Design Engineer.
Regarding the user experience achieved thanks to the updates, Parker Highlights: "A user can go from one club to another, or a player moving from the players' room to the locker room, and be able to operate televisions and audio systems in the same way".
DTP Solutions
Extron DTP Systems consist of a versatile range of products designed to support long-distance signal transmission over shielded twisted-pair cable in AV switching environments such as the Vivint Arena.
This family includes transmitters, Receptors, Distribution Amplifiers, Switches and switches with scaler for presentations. At the Vivint Arena, DTP T UWP 4K Wallplate Transmitters 232 D accept HDMI signals, VGA and analog audio. These signs, along with those from other sources, are routed with DTP CrossPoint arrays 84 4K or DTP CrossPoint 86 4K, or the IN1608 IPCP MA switch 70.
The output signals from these devices are sent up to a hundred meters (330 Ft) via shielded twisted-pair cable to distribution amplifiers 4 or 8 DTP HD DA 4K Series Outputs.
These work with the DTP HDMI 4K series transmitters and receivers, that connect signals to multiple display devices, providing an optimal fan experience.
The IP Link Pro IPCP Pro Control Processors 550 manage system functions. For its part, viewers make content selections with MediaLink Plus MLC Plus controllers 200 and TouchLink Pro touchscreens from 7 TLP Pro 725M inches. Audio amplification for PA speakers is provided by the mono amplifiers of 200 W and 70/100 V XPA 2001.
A key objective of the renovation of the Vivint Smart Home Arena was the enhancement of the fan experience in the suites and clubs, as well as in the lobbies and other public areas for them to enjoy when staying (and make purchases) in these places.
Available AV options bring new and informative dimensions to live action in the stadium. The synergy of live action with engaging multimedia commentary and background programming encourages fans to forgo the big TVs at home and attend matches and events in person, at the same time as the purchase of tickets, food and drink finances stadiums such as Vivint
