Medusa Festival 2019 breaks attendance records and technological deployment
Electronic music and fantasy, recreated in a dragon over a castle, have focused the sixth edition of one of the most multitudinous events of its kind in Spain, which has had a large deployment of AV media and lighting supplied by Fluge.
more than 315.000 people have enjoyed electronic music during the sixth edition of the Medusa Sun Beach Festival, held a few weeks ago in Cullera, in the province of Valencia, surpassing last year's attendance to see a hundred renowned artists from the current electronic scene.
In addition to the music of figures such as Nicky Romero, Ingrosso, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike y Paco Osuna, among others, Another of the main elements of this event has been the audiovisual installation to create the fantastic theme that is the protagonist of this edition, with the main stage or Main Stage, starring a dragon over a castle.
To achieve this, the specialist Fluge Audiovisuals has supplied the sound equipment, lighting, video and technical staff of the Main Stage, of the Techno stage and the VIP area.
specifically, for the PA system of the Main Stage the LEO and Lyon W systems have been used. Meyer Sound, together with other equipment from this manufacturer, with FOF control of Digico and monitors of L'Acustic.
Large LED screens have been installed in the display part (one in the central part and two on the sides, with pixel pitch of 4,81 mm and 6,9 Mm, respectively), with control ship S3 with 4K signal and HD camera four HD camera production system AK-HC3500, and recording of the event, of Panasonic.
The lighting and effects correspond to different devices of the firm Clay Paky and Vari-Lite, controlled by two Grand MA2 and Grand MA2 Light consoles of MA Lighting.
