DPA changes the landscape of live performances with the microphone 2028
This handheld vocal model doesn't need an equalizer to make it sound like you're listening to the performance next to the singer.. This allows you to tune your voice as if you were not using a microphone.
DPA Microphones has expanded its line of microphones with the handheld model 2028, that offers the company's characteristic natural sound, whose products are marketed by Seesound, enhancing brightness in all types of voices. An ideal team for live performances, professional AV transmissions and applications.
On a live stage, the 2028 offers the same sound qualities as other DPA microphones. No equalizer needed (or very little) to make it sound like you're listening to the performance with the singer. This allows the singer to tune his voice as if he were not using a microphone., putting less pressure on the voice. In addition, transparency allows sound engineers to engage in shaping sound instead of covering up unwanted sounds from other instruments.
"We have seen the need for an excellent vocal microphone that has the sonic qualities of our d series.: Facto 4018, but at a lower price. It performs significantly better than any other in its price range," says René Mørch., DPA Microphones Product Manager.
the 2028 presents a new fixed position capsule, as well as a specially designed anti-shock and anti-pop filter. Supercardioid polar pattern, with uniform off-axis response. This gives you a high profit before feedback and makes it easier to manage the influence of other instruments in the vicinity., capturing sound in a natural way.
"We've designed this microphone to look like the singer isn't using a microphone.. You get the full, natural sound of the artist's voice. This gives the sound engineer a lot of freedom to be creative.. You can work on creating a unique sound for performance based on a clean and natural vocal track," adds René Mørch..
This handheld microphone is offered in three variants: on 2028-B-B01, a wired XLR; and two wireless microphone configurations that are compatible with the most widely used wireless microphone systems in the industry: adapter 2028-B-SL1, Shure compatible, Sony and Lectrosonics; and adapter 2028-B-SE2, compatible with Sennheiser.
