JBL's VTX A8 system debuts at Portuguese EDP CoolJazz festival as a sound booster

It is the first time that this line array is used in the Portuguese market, which has provided uniform and controlled coverage throughout the event.

The 16th edition of EDP CoolJazz, music festival that has just been held in the Portuguese city of Cascais, has had the line array VTX A8 of JBL Professional to reinforce the sound of the stage, located inside the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome, where most of the concerts are held.

For this project, the organization of this festival, in which stars of all generations of jazz perform, Soul, pop and other jazz-influenced genres, you have trusted the rental company Audiomatrix for the sound of the racecourse, with the novelty that this is the first time that the VTX A8 system of JBL Professional is installed in Portugal, brand that markets in the Iberian market Earpro.

specifically, Audiomatrix mounted sixteen out fills VTX A8, that were located on the sides of the stage, to reinforce the sound offered by the JBL Professional main system, composed of twenty-four VerTec loudspeakers 4889, eight front fills VRX 932LA and sixteen VerTec subwoofers 4880.

This configuration was amplified with I-Tech 4x3500HD power stages of Crown Audio, whose final result has been a clear and powerful sound throughout the festival.

The reinforcement of the VTX A8 system has provided uniform and controlled coverage for a very wide listening area,as is the main stand of the racecourse, located on one of the sides of the stage.
