HP introduces its powerful 43.4" S430c Curved Ultrawide 4K resolution monitor
This ultra-wide and curved device offers an aspect ratio of nothing less than 3000:1 and 60Hz screen refresh to respond to professionals using various office and productivity applications.
The new S430 Curved Ultrawide monitor that HP has just been presented, and that it will be available for marketing next November, features a VA panel (with an anti-glare coating) 43.4" diagonal, with an aspect ratio of 3000:1, one of the largest on the market in this type of equipment.
To this it adds its 4K resolution (3.840×1.200p), with a curvature of 1,800R, 178° viewing angles (horizontal and vertical), 5ms response time and 60Hz refresh rate.
Since it is not a video-focused monitor, HP adheres to the sRGB color gamut to display the 99% of the spectrum, which is the primary color space used by office and productivity applications.
In terms of connectivity, it has a DisplayPort input 1.2, one HDMI port 2.0 and two USB Type-C inputs (DP alt-mode), allowing the monitor to be connected to virtually any PC.
Both USB-C ports can deliver up to 85 W power to your host laptops (with a total limit of 100 W), which means the monitor can load higher-performance 15.6" devices, plus power the monitor's built-in USB hub, thus providing four USB Type-A output ports.
HP S430c Curved Ultrawide also includes a Full HD webcam on top, with infrared sensors for Windows Hello, as well as two microphones. The display also supports HP Device Bridge technology, that allows the user to control two PCs at the same time in a split screen without a dedicated KVM.
