The River Aquarium of Zaragoza is committed to laser projection for its auditorium
The project for this multidisciplinary space is based on NEC Display's PA803UL laser equipment, supplied by Estalella Audiovisual and installed by the specialist Fluge.
Rated as the largest freshwater aquarium in Europe and one of the largest in the world, the Zaragoza River Aquarium It has 8.000 m2 of surface area, of which 3.400 are dedicated to showing more than 350 Different aquatic species, from the five rivers: Ebro, Nile, Mekon, Amazonas and Murray-Darlin, housed in seventy large fish tanks and a central tank of more than 45 meters and 9 depth.
The facility has a large auditorium, with the capacity to 120 people, for conferences, Congresses, Presentations, etc. with an aquarium as a backdrop, in which Estalella Audiovisual, official wholesaler NEC Display, has supplied laser equipment from this manufacturer to respond to the needs of each event.
The NEC Display PA803UL projector offers a power of 8.000 lumens and WUXGA resolution (1.920×1.200p), being the first laser equipment so far on the market without a filter (The laser engine has the optical sealed) and with LCD technology, offering high image quality and durability of up to 20.000 Hours of use.
Installed by the audiovisual specialist Fluge, This system processes a wide colour space, with Rec2020 to Rec709 color conversion and with dynamic contrasts that support the HDR10 standard via the HDMI interface.
