This scientific research project has the participation of the main universities of Catalonia to co-design and create flexible spaces that change according to the educational needs of the moment.

With the premise that the learning space in traditional classrooms in schools also has to adapt to new contexts and digital resources, Smart Classroom Project tries to respond to this renewal.

The Oberta Universities of Catalonia, Barcelona, vic, Autonomous Barcelona and Simon Bolivar participate in this scientific research project, the result of which has been the co-design and creation of spaces that allow learning from the well-being of all the people who inhabit them.

The classrooms of this new generation are flexible and change according to the educational needs of the moment. In addition to the research, a consulting service is offered in schools, institutions and administrations that want to redesign their learning spaces, with special attention to the didactic and invisible integration of technologies.

blankCurrently the research team collaborates with viladecans City Council for the redesign of eleven schools of Early Childhood and Primary Education, in addition to so many other schools that have commissioned the process of codesigning and implementing these new spaces to the Smart Classroom Project team.

In this sense, in this course there are five Catalan schools, with a total of a few 2.000 Students, who have started with this smart classroom approach involving researchers, teachers, staff of the educational community and the students themselves.
