Crestron appoints Annelies Kampert as new CEO for Europe
From his new responsibility he will focus on business expansion and the establishment of new offices throughout Europe., Middle East and Africa.
Based in Belgium, Crestron Europe is a relatively new entity of this multinational, since until the end of 2018 all of Crestron's EMEA activities were managed by Future Vision Marketing.
“Logistics, distribution, customer support and training are now fully managed by Crestron Europe, based in Belgium, while the Technological Innovations Group (Tig), developed from Future Vision Marketing remains Crestron's exclusive sales agent in EMEA. We are committed to making sure our clients across the region receive the same great experience and high level of support they have known.”, comments Peter Ypsilantis.
In this process, Ypsilantis temporarily moved to Crestron's U.S. offices to assume the role of interim general manager and oversee the launch of the new entity.. In January, customer support features, finance, human resources and marketing were transferred from TIG to Crestron Europe, without this entailing any interruption for customers.
TIG remains Crestron's exclusive sales agent in EMEA, Even though, parallel, Ypsilantis was in charge of looking for a responsible for the European market that has fallen to Annelies Kampert.

From his new responsibility, Kampert will lead the establishment of Crestron Europe's new offices first in the UK and then in Germany, to which they will follow more in the future.
