the City Council of La Coruña (A Coruña) hand in hand with Acciona Producciones y Diseño (APD), began last weekend the municipal Christmas program with the audiovisual show The Star of Illusion, that was projected on the façade of the consistory, transformed into a giant screen, in the emblematic Plaza de María Pita of this city.
This large-scale projection, Performed under the mapping technique and with several daily passes, It was combined with lighting and music composed specifically for this show and with special effects to increase the sense of immersion., conceived as a Christmas story in which the protagonist is Isabela; A girl who travels through this Galician city by the hand of her father and through whose eyes the viewer discovers Christmas in A Coruña.
The dialogue between little Isabela and her father affects the possibility that children have to achieve their dreams and design their future if they have perseverance and enthusiasm. In addition, and like other shows performed by APD, is neutral in CO emissions2, I mean, such emissions linked to it shall be calculated and offset by a project of clean energy in Oaxaca (Mexico), thus achieving that the final balance of emissions is equal to zero.
