Avid unveils new S6L 48D control surface and software version 6.2

The new flagship for direct of the brand has 48 Faders and six touch screens, among other elements.

Available in the Iberian market through Seesound, the new S6L 48D control surface Avid marks another step in this recognized system for direct brand.

Avid S6L 48D features 48 Faders and six touch screens, To which is added the parallel presentation of the version 6.2 software for all S6L consoles, that provides more versatility and mixing possibilities.

This control surface is compatible with all existing engines, as well as all of Avid's current I/O pre-racks.

For its part, the version 6.2 for consoles S6L account, among other new features, with the possibility of dividing the surfaces in two and thus having two separate mixtures or working with a couple of operators; Encoder assignable from external display and faster access to plugins from channel.

To this are added 48 Assignable layouts with 48 Faders configurable on all consoles; 48 VCAS and equal number of Mute Groups for all consoles, as well as a new Test Mode to detect possible network failures.
