Philips Professional Display transforms meeting rooms with new C-Line displays
Designed exclusively for corporate use, This new range of collaboration displays will be officially unveiled at ISE 2020, which will take place next week in Amsterdam.
The new range of C-Line screens is one of the novelties that Philips Professional Display Solutions (PDS) will be presented during his participation in ISE 2020, of the 11 to the 14 at the Amsterdam RAI (pavilion 10 – booth K170), that has been designed from the ground up, powered by Windows, to deliver a complete all-in-one solution to improve collaboration and productivity.
Based on customer requests, The C-Line Series combines all the functionality of a powerful PC with the convenience of a traditional wall- or desk-mounted whiteboard, making these displays fit into virtually any environment, from large boardrooms to small and medium-sized meeting spaces.
Philips C-Line is available in 55, 65, 75 and 86 Inch, and incorporates a wide range of dedicated functions, each chosen to help overcome many of the historical issues and frustrations associated with meetings, improving creativity and productivity levels.
Inspiring Change
According to the data provided by the company based on the latest market studies, The number of hours spent in office meetings has doubled since the 1990s. 1960, with an average of more than ten hours a week currently.
A Harvard Business Review survey revealed that the 71% of senior managers consider meetings unproductive and inefficient, while the 62% suggests that they miss opportunities to collaborate as a team. The Doodle Status of Meetings Report 2019 shows that poorly organized meetings cost companies billions every year.

All-in-one solution
Taking advantage of the familiarity of a traditional PC with Microsoft Windows, Participants can play an active role in any meeting, either physically in the room, in another office, working from home or even from another country thanks to its seamless screen sharing capabilities.
System administrators can integrate displays using their professional version of the Windows operating system into the corporate infrastructure strategy, whether it's a full Microsoft environment (Exchange, Teams, Azure, etc.) or, for example, a Google implementation (GSuite , Hangouts,…).
C-Line displays also provide the added benefit of being completely tool-independent, meaning that the organization can enjoy all the features and functionalities of their new display while continuing to use the solutions they are familiar with, as Zoom, Skype for business and Microsoft Teams.
The user can run all their favorite apps directly on the projected capacitive touchscreen (PCAP, as the C-Line series allows multiple participants to work simultaneously on the same document via their own connected computer.
In addition, C-Line's multiple touchpoints encourage teams to physically work together right on the screen, with control of both your hand, Passive pen (Included as standard) or via traditional keyboard and mouse.
Connection points, such as USB and HDMI, are conveniently located at the edge of the screen for quick and easy access. In addition, the screen supports Active Pen technology.
All meeting work can be saved automatically, be shared via third-party email applications to all participants and/or stored securely in the cloud.
It's also possible to add guests quickly and easily with a dedicated dongle that allows them to connect, safely and without cables, to presentation via your own device, eliminating potential time-consuming accessibility and compatibility hurdles.
Videoconference
With additional accessories, such as audio soundbars and cameras, and compatible with a wide range of video conferencing platforms, including Zoom and Skype, C-Line displays also combine all the functionality of a high-end video conferencing system.
