Given the recent international information about the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV), Integrated Systems Europe (Ise) has issued the following official statement on its imminent call, that will take place in the 11 to the 14 of February in the Amsterdam RAI and that we publish in full in this newspaper.

“For the past sixteen years, the co-owners of the exhibition, Avixa and Cedia, are committed to offering an event that benefits the global audiovisual industry. ISE has always been perceived as the person in charge of this event – a place and a time for the industry to unite and grow. We reaffirm and continue that commitment as we hold the event for the last time in Amsterdam..

“Our determination to continue with the event was made taking into account the current alignments provided by public health authorities., including those of the World Health Organization (WHO)”.

“We understand and support the fact that our exhibiting partners will make decisions based on what they consider best for their employees and customers, and that this situation requires us all to make informed decisions considering the most up-to-date information possible. With this in mind, we will continue to share information as soon as it becomes available.

Participation of exhibitors

On behalf of our 250 main exhibitors, in addition to many other exhibitors and empress, we have received incredible support and assurances of your participation. And although the company Lg he has informed us that this year he does not intend to occupy his exhibition space at ISE, we hope that the other big exhibitors are preparing their new technologies, offers and announcements to show to the audience.

Unsurprisingly, due to global travel restrictions, we have noticed some cancellations of our Chinese exhibitors. To this day, this represents less than the 20% of these exhibition spaces, and we can expect some additional updates in this regard.

attendance

The number of attendees who will attend the exhibition is always a subject of much debate and speculation. To this day, the visitor record is above the figure we had at the same point in 2019. Even though, it cannot be claimed that all registrations will be translated into actual attendees, registration data has always been an accurate forecast that has helped us plan fair logistics.

Please keep an eye out for information posted on the ISE website for regular updates on ISE recommendations, amsterdam RAI officials and the global health community regarding specific details about the virus and health recommendations”.
